Everyone ages. It is an inherent property of life. As our bodies and minds develop over time, we adapt to these changes by modifying our decisions and actions. The later years of life can be especially challenging, but Decorum Care AFH is here to help. At Decorum Care AFH, we listen to the needs of our residents in order to understand their limitations and discuss potential solutions. We work with our community members to customize options that will help them lead the lives they want.

Many of our community members at Decorum Care AFH require some degree of health and well-being monitoring. We have a contracted Nurse Delegator to provide any needed delegated tasks to our staff. We complete management and administration of all medications and tasks as allowed by the Nursing Delegation Program (administration of oral and topical medication, inhalers, insulin, oxygen therapy, blood sugar monitoring).

We offer medication services that focus on medication appropriateness, safety, adherence, and effectiveness that helps improve health outcomes. This patient?centered service is tailored for each resident, acknowledging their specific needs and conces, and involves the patient in the care process.

Our Services mean both physical assistance and/or promoting and supervising the performance of direct personal care tasks as determined by the resident’s needs . However, we also try to encourage and support our residents to do as much as they can by themselves.

Our activities include physical exercises, walking, lectures, movie nights with popco and soda, sports events on TV, puzzles, coloring books, reading magazines, among others.
